Your Destiny Awaits
Embark on a new journey into Savathun’s Thone, in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. A deadly force that has been haunting the Destiny storyline, by using mischief and deceit. It’s your duty to defeat Savathun and uncover her lies.
Players will be introduced to a new enemy type, Savathun’s Lucent Brood of Hive Lightbeares. Similar abilities to that of the Guardians, this new enemy has been designed to provide players with an additional challenge. A Hive warrior can wield Void shields and even create Arc lightning storms. This DLC expansion also features a brand-new world for players to explore – Savathun’s Throne World. Situated in the Ascendant Realm, this world is packed full of corruption. Venture from Savathun’s palace to the swamp lands on your journey to uncover the truth.
Exclusive Weaponry
Destiny 2: The Witch Queen introduces a series of new exotic weaponry to the game. New to the arsenal, the glaive. A projectile weapon, a glaive is a shield and a melee merged into one. You will need to master the timing and aim for the glaive’s projectile capabilities. Each type of Guardian will have a new skill type to unlock:
- Titan Glaive: Places a protective shield.
- Warlock Glaive: Deploys a healing turret.
- Hunter Glaive: Tracks chain lightning.
Some of the other weapons introduced in this DLC expansion includes:
- Parasite: A worm launcher.
- Osteo Striga: Projectiles which trigger a toxic burst.
Weapon Crafting
Along with new weapons, players will now be able to create their own custom armoury. Utilising unique mods, shaders, and stat combinations, your full creativity can be unleashed.
In order to craft your weaponry, you need to obtain weapon patterns or blueprints through in-game activities and quests. Then journey, to a brand-new location, the Enclave. You can upgrade your weapons with exciting perks and components, the more you progress through the game.
